The California Rose
The Traditional Cowboy Arts Association is dedicated to preserving and promoting the skills of saddle making, bit and spur making, silversmithing, and rawhide braiding, as well as the role of these traditional crafts in the cowboy culture of the North American West.
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the TCAA's inaugural exhibition and sale at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, the TCAA's 13 active members, plus one emeritus member, collaborated on the design and build of a traditional Visalia-style saddle and outfit, including a braided rawhide riata, quirt, and hobbles.
